Ricardo Coll and writer/producer David Hofberg have
been friends and colleagues since first working together
on the music video for Tim Finn's "Carve You In Marble"
in 1986. They met Wafae El Hakimi in 2005 when all three
were working on the feature film "Une Gazelle Dans Le
Vent" in Morocco. Their shared passion for film and
Morocco itself made it inevitable that they would
collaborate on another Moroccan movie, an aspiration
that began to jell when Ricardo read a magazine article
about North Africa's Berber people. The rest, as they
say, will hopefully be history! |
